Staff Who Regularly Work Off-Site

In today’s high pressure working environment, there are increasing numbers of workers who are regularly away from their desk. These staff need to be able to receive calls no matter where they are currently working, what telephone handset they’re using or over which network they’re connected. Calls need to be routed straight to the handset they’re currently using. One of the key requirements is for these mobile workers to be able to use one handset irrespective of location without incurring excessive call charges.

Where staff regularly work from more than one fixed location, Find Me / Follow Me features can be used to ring a number of different extensions either simultaneously (Find Me) or one after the other (Follow Me) in order to reach the person at one of their designated work places. TeleWare's Hosted Communications provide this service.

Office-Based Staff Often Away From The Desk

The more staff are away from the desk, the more likely they are to use a mobile phone as the telephone handset of choice. With the ability to deploy private mobile extensions, mobile phones can be used as PBX extensions, reducing the call charges normally associated with mobile phone use and delivering common voice applications to the mobile phone and the fixed handset, including providing more advanced services such as conferencing and call recording.
