New Communications Solution to Manage Advertising Spend
National advertising campaigns offer cost advantages over a series of local campaigns but, potentially, present issues in terms of being able to track and report on resulting sales enquiries. We enable location-based reporting to allow effective management of campaigns, reducing misplaced advertising spend.
The TeleWare solution uses location-based routing to collect statistics. This system uses the caller’s telephone number (CLI) in determining how the call should be handled. This allows calls to nationally advertised phone numbers (e.g. 0800) to be routed to the caller’s local store extension. At the same time, calls are tracked so as to allow reporting on the effectiveness of adverts on a region by region basis. Where required, callers could be presented with a local menu and their call routed and reporting supplied in greater detail, based on their choices, for example, call to home furnishing, electrical goods or food department.
